We are Dosbarth Onnen. We are years 3 and 4. Our Teachers are Mrs Dunn and Mr Sutton and our Teaching Assistant is Mrs Emma Jones.
Our Autumn Term Topic is – Our Local Area
This term, we will be exploring our local area and what makes our community special through our topic, Our Local Area.
In Literacy, we will develop our instruction writing skills by exploring what makes a good community and creating clear instructions for others.
In Humanities, we will delve into the history of Caerwys, discovering how our local area has changed and developed over time.
In Art, we will explore Wales through art, taking inspiration from Welsh landscapes, culture and artists to create our own artwork.
In Music, we will have lots of fun exploring music through Charanga, developing our musical skills through singing, composing and performing.
In Science, we will explore trees, including trees in our local area, the tree featured on our school logo and the historic tree in Caerwys Square.
Throughout the topic, we will develop a deeper understanding of our local community, its history and the natural environment around us.
The children also receive weekly P.E sessions and take part in the daily mile.
