We are Dosbarth Derwen Bach. We are Nursery, Reception and Year 1.
Our Teachers are Mrs Fay Booth and Mrs Janine Smith. Our Teaching Assistant is Mrs Caroline Edwards.
This term our topic is ‘Buildings and Homes’. Children will be learning about the types of homes they live in, home safety and will design and create their own dream home. Children will also be learning about homes and important buildings from around the world as well as homes from the past. We will also explore what different homes are made from through the story of the three little pigs.
All the children are offered a Healthy Snack in the morning along with their milk. Please pay 20p per day via School Gateway.
Children need to bring in their reading books daily and spelling tests are on a Thursday. PE for Reception and Year 1 is on a Wednesday afternoon. Children to come in their PE Kit, black shorts or jogging bottoms/leggings, white t-shirt and school jumper or cardigan. Black pumps or trainers.
We offer Early Entitlement Nursery in January and April each year for children who turn 3 years of age between September and December and January and Easter.
We hold open afternoons/evenings twice a year and welcome prospective parents to come and meet the staff and see our wonderful small school for yourselves.
