We are Dosbarth Derwen Bach. We are Nursery, Reception and Year 1.

Summer Topic – Under the Sea
This term, our younger children will be diving under the sea to explore the fascinating creatures that live in our oceans. They will create their own fact books, learn how we can look after our seas through recycling, and work together to make a class aquarium. Our learning will then sail into an exciting pirate theme, where the children will use their imaginations to create stories, characters and adventures.
All the children are offered a Healthy Snack in the morning along with their milk. Please pay 20p per day via School Gateway.
Children need to bring in their reading books daily and spelling tests are on a Thursday. PE for Reception and Year 1 is on a Wednesday afternoon. Children to come in their PE Kit, black shorts or jogging bottoms/leggings, white t-shirt and school jumper or cardigan. Black pumps or trainers.
We offer Early Entitlement Nursery in January and April each year for children who turn 3 years of age between September and December and January and Easter.
We hold open afternoons/evenings twice a year and welcome prospective parents to come and meet the staff and see our wonderful small school for yourselves.
